The time has actually been passing rather quickly! When he had his five week training in May it felt like five years, and now we are already on day 29! That's great news! Even better news is that I'll be hopping on a flight to see him in Wisconsin on August 5th for a three day pass!!! I can't believe I get to hug him one more time before he heads over seas! We don't have much planned, maybe a baseball game and a brewery tour, mostly just some good old face time before we have to say the long good bye. We are so lucky to have this opportunity and even though I know that the time will go by fast, it's better than no time at all.
It looks like he'll be heading over some time in the beginning of August and hopefully soon after he will be able to give us an APO address so that you all can send him cheery things to keep him smiling. Though I'm sure he'll be able to email, there's something special about getting "snail mail" from across the ocean.
For those of you on facebook, he has uploaded some photos from the training he's doing in Missouri. Check them out, he's a pretty big deal!
So that's it for now, just counting down the days until I get to see him then switching over to the countdown to the next time we get this lucky! Hopefully his R&R won't be too far off!
Thanks again everyone for your continued support. It really does mean a lot to the both of us!
